The terms on which the My PC Direct website is offered. Last updated 4 October 2026.
My PC Direct is a Windows application that connects your own computers directly to each other for Remote Desktop and file access. These terms apply to this website and summarize how the application is offered. The application itself is licensed under the My PC Direct End User License Agreement, which the installer shows in full and asks you to accept; if anything on this website differs from it, that agreement prevails. By using this website you accept these terms; if you do not accept them, please do not use it.
The core features of My PC Direct are free.
Use My PC Direct only to reach computers that you own or are authorized to access. You may not use it to infringe the rights of others, or to attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorized access to this service or to the computers of other people.
Anyone who has your My PC Direct credentials can reach the encrypted channel between your computers, so keep them private. Each computer remains protected by its own Windows sign-in, which you are responsible for keeping secure.
The application is provided as it stands and without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be free of error, or that a connection can always be established. Do not rely on it as the only way to reach a computer that you depend on.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of data, or for loss of profit arising from use of the application. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
We may revise these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. A revision applies only to use of this website after it is published here, never to anything that happened before, and it does not change the License Agreement you accepted for the application.

Reads the drive’s own file table instead of walking folders, so the whole disk appears quickly, sorted by size. Delete, move and rename from the same window, with a running total of the space reclaimed.
